Brian moved to Colorado from the State of Michigan in 1982. He attended the University of Denver where he obtained his undergraduate degree in 1985 majoring in Psychology and Political Science. Mr. Rossiter obtained his law degree from the University of Denver in 1989 and after completing a judicial clerkship for Judge Looney in the Colorado Department of Justice where he was kept busy on Superfund cases involving toxic tort and certain environmental crimes.

After a period of time in private practice engaged in family law and probate issues, he worked as General Counsel for a major furniture retailer in Colorado. In 2001, Mr. Rossiter accepted a position as Deputy District Attorney in the "four corners" area of the state. Mr. Rossiter prosecuted felony and misdemeanor criminal cases being named "Chief Deputy" in 2003. In 2006, he moved to Washington State to be closer to family members and was admitted to the Washington State Bar that same year. He practices in the areas, of criminal defense, family law and juvenile law. He is licensed to practice law in Washington, Colorado and the Federal 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
